Support and Solidarity during the Coronavirus Crisis

Post by Copwatcher »

A reminder that if you want to make a donation to Clapton CFC's Hardship Fund, you can do so at https://www.gofundme.com/f/clapton-cfc-hardship-fund

You can also donate directly to our bank - please add HARDSHIP FUND as a reference:

Sortcode: 40-06-30
Account number: 03832201

So far we have raised just over £2000 and started to make some initial payments. The Community Outreach Committee will come back with an update later this week.

If you are a Clapton CFC member and need funds, check your email for Newsletter Issue 79, which contains further details.

We would also encourage anyone wanting and able to help the most vulnerable in our society to donate to Hackney Migrant Centre’s Covid-19 Emergency Fund - see https://hackneymigrantcentre.org.uk/cov ... ency-fund/

For your nearest mutual aid group (in Britain) see https://covidmutualaid.org/

If anyone has details of local mutual aid initiatives in other countries where members are based, please share them here.

In request to the local initiatives, here in argentina, those who have a 3d printer are making masks for the ones who couldn´t afford them.
And also there are list of volunteers who do community purchases, to help the old ones, and keep them at home.
How are you taking this whole situation there?. we saw in the news that johnson didn´t take it seriously, is that right?
