Re: Groundsharers at the OSD?
OSD Grounds Committee cap at a jaunty rake I'll just say this to start to convo off, it'd be disadvantageous to entertain a groundshare with a team in a higher league, so all mentioned so far furgeddabouddit, to put it at its simplest. And yeah, take on a lower level groundshare and fork out for tra...

Re: Video of the spotted dog request
Think you'll find the shorter the production the more tightly scripted and edited it has to be to be meaningful Gus. For example ITV London were on site for a couple of hours for their little news clip the other day.

Re: Video of the spotted dog request
Hey Gus, It'd be quite a lot of work for someone keen enough to do it to shoot a video structured to give such an overview. While you're waiting perhaps just revisit the Ground Report (PDF) that was distributed to all members in a newsletter some time late last year? Prehaps we could publish the vir...

Is there any details on what the money will be spent on? Groundwork, scaffolding? The three working groups - Grounds, Clubhouse and Bar - will be updating initial 'guesstimate' budgets but we've only just got in and had only limited opprtunities to inspect. There'll be a growing list: • inspect sew...

Re: Return to football
You'd need to ban drinking and vaping, etc to enforce the wearing of masks strictly so for us that'd be a non-starter? But anyway, here's the latest from the Sports Grounds Safety Authority on re-opening for spectators from October https://mailchi.mp/39a34b03debb/sgsa-newsletter-july-2020 Update fro...

Re: Return to football
Just a couple of spanners to throw in: Some players will be experiencing negative mental health impacts from the lack of football as we know it, how to balance that against mitigating a pandemic? Ditto some fans. Obviously we find other outlets, but it's not the same? Although for some of us when we...

Last news on the grapevine was the court was asking both sides for available dates? That was all before lockdown.

Re: Proposal on funds for the Old Spotted Dog Ground
I'm definitely behind going ahead with as it feels the only real option. Thank you for the really clear communication and detail on the pros and cons - which actually helps me feeling confident the process, while complicated, will be in good hands. My question is about the changing rooms. This seem...
