Would it be possible to organise a benefit show for Clapton CFC at, say, Theatre Royal Stratford East? It holds 460, which should sell out if we recruit some football-loving comics and musicians. Don't see what the problem is. They've achieved something very similar to Clapton CFC; got the ground back after it looked doomed, and boosted crowds to levels not seen since the 40s/50s. 'Hating' Dulwich Hamlet is a total waste of energy. Focus on Clapton CFC instead.

This may have been suggested before, but is the club running a standing order / direct debit scheme, so supporters can contribute funds towards the loan repayments? With support running into the hundreds, the club could use this to cover the immediate costs.

Unless it's on a municpal ground (ie, owned by an independent third party), ground sharing is a no-no in my book. With a few exceptions it leads to the dominant club (possibly the one that flogged their ground to pay off debts) moving in on a struggling neighbour who need the groundshare to pay off ...
