Re: Should M1T transfer to Essex Alliance League?
So now it looks like we’re never going to get out of the MCFL and they hate us to boot, shall we get that Essex Alliance application form filled in? DTFC got promoted and rumour has it Sporting Hackney are switching over so that should make it even less travelling than that map up there

Should M1T transfer to Essex Alliance League?
The Essex Alliance League has been granted Regional NLS Feeder League status (i.e. Step 7, same as MCFL Prem) meaning that their Premier now promotes into Step 6 - https://www.essexallianceleague.com/news/regional-nls-feeder-league-status-granted-from-202122-season--1274/ Should M1T be thinking abou...

Re: Return to football
Anyone else a bit surprised that we're going ahead with games this weekend? Last I checked, Waltham Forest had the 2nd-highest rate of positive cases in London, with Newham and Hackney not far behind, and London will be in Tier 3 restrictions from Wednesday. Also, the W1T game on Sunday just gone w...

Re: AGM PROPOSAL: financing the renovation of the Old Spotted Dog Ground
Thanks for the proposal and for opening it up for discussion.
Were there any conditions about what the 'bounce-back' loan can be used for - i.e. that it should be used only for things related to Covid (for example businesses having to close), or can it just be used for anything?

Groundsharers at the OSD?
This is presumably a decision for the OSD Ground Trust to make on financial grounds (i.e. if it's a good source of revenue then we may not have a choice) but interested what fans think. Guessing by the time we move in we'll have at least 2, maybe 3 11-a-side teams (M1T, W1T, W2T?) plus Young Tons, 5...

Re: Proposal Discussion: OSDGT Funds
How much did the freehold set us back, out of interest? A figure of £XXk has been tweeted out, but I don't see any member communication on this. The £13.3k p.a. in the proposal is presumably the mortgage repayment? Would be great to see some income/profit projections for the Trust if anyone has the...

Re: Proposal Discussion: OSDGT Funds
Looks great to me, does this mean that Ground Maintenance committee will be no more? Looks like most (if not all) of their responsibilities would pass to OSDGT?

Return to football
Interested to know how people are feeling about the return of football matches given the relaxing of the lockdown in the UK. If games have to be played without fans i.e. behind closed doors (BCD), should we refuse to play? Football without fans and all that... Does anyone feel that we shouldn't be p...
